Eulogy to the Sky.

Everyone who knows me knows how much I love the sky. As a kid, I used to lay on the terrace, my grandpa sitting beside me, and watch the sky weave different stories through the delicate clouds. I would be amazed at how the sky kept creating new pictures every new second.

The Moody Sky

I could watch the sunset and the evening sky and the starry night sky everyday and never get tired of its changing colours. I still spend hours sitting on my terrace from evening to night watching the beautiful moon change its shape and the miraculous beauty of the night sky decorated with twinkling stars.

It bewilders me how the sky knows all my dreams, my thoughts- happy and sad, my deepest secrets and my darkest fears. The huge sky above can make me feel so small and at the same time make me realize that I am such an important part of this universe.

Be it at sunrise, midday or at sunset, the sky is forever prepared to amaze you with its beautiful form.

The stars, the clouds, the planets are the jewelleries that adorn the sky and make it look like a Queen. And you would be astounded at how quickly the Queen changes her apparels from the pretty pink to a vibrant blue to an aesthetic orange.

I would even gaze at the sky when it gets grumpy and quiet, before all the storm and tears. And surprisingly, within a few moments, it would smile and shine again, with a rainbow as its crown. (My dad lent me the rainbow picture👀)

The sky would overlap the mountain peaks, kiss the seas and stretch far along with the deserts. It enhances the beauty of literally anything that it touches.

The sky with all its gracious and charming qualities is my favourite thing on Earth. Gazing at the sky and watching it change its form can make me happy any time. The sky has always been there for me. It has been there when no one else was. The sky gave me shelter, it never made me feel lonely. And I would never stop loving the sky.

P.S: Apart from the pictures that I have clicked, Meghna, Aveek and my dad also lent me pictures for this blog. Thankful to them.😉💝
